Is NTUC expanding 'unnecessary'? Take Ang Mo Kio for example, NTUC has a supermarket in Ang Mio Kio Hub. Why does it need to open another in former Oriental site which my guess is less than 1-2km away from the one in Ang Mo Kio Hub. To 'chop' the site to prevent competition? Irony is that NTUC Fairprice is set up to bring value to Singaporean but now it is opening up supermarkets which are cannibalising its own sales in order to deter other supermarkets from coming in....set up initially to lower cost and promote competition but end up detering competition.....what irony

so don't blame on lack of manpower.....
