today's announcement :
MHJL now intends to retail the Accessorize products in the People's Republic of China and will, through Green Aim, acquire the entire equity interest of Metro Trading from Metro Private for a total consideration of US$500,000 ("Purchase Price"). The Purchase Price is based on the total registered capital contributed by Metro Private and is arrived at on a willing seller, willing buyer basis and is to be
wholly satisfied in cash.

I just wonder how accessorize products gg to compete with those in Taobao..

I think the likes of Singapore Land, Metro Holdings and few of the hotel stocks could unlock value in their balance sheet by monetizing their properties through a listed REIT.

This metro boss ....highest in the company never changes...playboy, divorcee, gambler...gd luck to the shareholder....die hard never learnt his lesson.... lost the cruise ship, left a casino table in his 20 rooms resort bungalow.

According to Mabel Lee, the number one casualty at RWS Crockford Room
is Jopie Ong of Metro followed by Dennis Foo of St James Power Station.

To-date Jopie Ong
has lost about $5m and Dennis Foo about $1.5m.

No wonder Gentings S'pore share price has been on the rise recently.
