Is that Shariah compliant?
Major shareholder had been selling in late May at 1.34 levels, while Mgt started selling in early Aug at 1.16 levels.

Isn't it good if they sell more and having the price hit $1 or lower so that we can buy at the same price as per private placement or even lower?

I was hoping it'd hit below $1.025 (Advance DPU + $1 Placement price) and I'm rather disappointed that the low today is only $1.055. Perhaps next week? But, the already high yield may be preventing that.......

The fall should come, when the CD become XD and the extra units come into the picture. Ya, before XD, it will be 1.022, i think .... not 1.025
Yup, I was actually hoping it fall further, so that I am not shortchanged by the placement. Thats why the forum is full of doomsayers posts, I am rather happy. hehehe

Above $1 (in fact, above 20ct), each bid is 0.5ct, that's why I used 'below $1.025' ie. at $1.02 or lower...

yeah I strongly agree, $1.025 or lower would be a good buy for yield

CityFarmer, I dun agree with the mod's stand.
Sabana has touted itself to be a first listed Shari'ah compliant REIT, I really dun think its unreasonable to discuss exactly what that encompasses; or how the practice by the REIT manager to be Shari'ah compliant can affect the fundamental of the REITs.
However I do agree that it is inappropriate to discuss whether the price the manager sold the units is consider Shari'ah compliant or not.
An important distinction must be made between the two.

I agree with you. The only concern is discussion on Sharia law, will lead easily to sensitive topic on religious. It already happened, and was deleted.
Moderator is not full-time to monitor every post, and may not able to react as necessary and timely, to avoid discomfort.
Buddies should continue having a fruitful discussion, even without touching on Sharia law.
Thanks.
