is there a difference between HK reit and SG reit?

There are some differences in rules and regulations.

One way to find out the differences is to use Fortune Reit which complies to both since it is dual listed in Singapore and HK. In one of the circular dated 1st March 2010, Fortune listed the differences in both exchanges and how it complies to both.

Dividends paid by HKEX listed stocks are paid in full without any withholding tax.

Does any withholding tax apply to dividends paid to shareholders by SG Reits ?

Dividends paid by SG Reits are tax exempt if you are an individual shareholder (whether local or foreign) or if you are a tax resident Singapore incorporated company.
