No. These people got no money, so no demand.
The demand will come from the rich.

the demand of "a roof over the head" is well protected by the increased supply of BTO.
the investment demand of the rich is not damaged anyway. only the speculative demand would be curbed. a healthy property market should be like this.

This latest measure will take away those with income that could not service a loan shorter than 35 years. This group of people should not be looking at investment property in the first place. Better for them to invest in REIT!

However if the goal is to drive the property price higher, than we are making the elite richer while holding back those not-so-rich. Time will tell. |
