I find it interesting that on page 55/68 of the report, it says that Singapore HNWI's favourite things is books and reading materials. I wonder what is the subject matter of these books and reading materials.
With the closure of Borders, I wonder where these HNWI will go for their purchases. KopiKat is probably going to say popular. Smile

Prologue may have been targeted at the affluents, considering the store locations at ION Orchard and now, the 2nd one @ Orchard Central.

Coincidentally, I happened to check out Prologue @ OC today (premises used to house UrbanWrite - another experiment that failed?). OC is pretty deserted whenever I visited, but looking at the businesses there and the shoppers I encountered, many seems quite affluent (from their dressing and mannerism).

Anyway, HNWIs could also easily order their books online from Amazon.com even before they hit local bookstores...

PS. Got Storewide discounts at both Prologues (20% : Non-Members ; 25% : Members), 17-20 Aug only. Free spin with every $50 nett spent (I won a *ahem* limited edition Prologue umbrella for one receipt + 100% refund for another receipt - supposed to have been a Kate Spade wallet but limited to 3 per day)

Personally, I wouldn't like it if other people put my photo in the internet accompanied with naughtly comments. Because I wouldn't like it to happen to me, I will not do it to others.

What do you think?

My apologies if my comment leads to this forum becoming more dull and serious.
