Just chanced upon this counter while looking for undervalued stocks..

- Huge amount of cash
- 16% dividends (4+1 cents) based on 30 cents
- Revenue and profits seems to be dwindling year after year
- No mention of how they are going to revive or improve their current business? Just relying on acquisitions? (which brings me to the next point)
- Management seems to have certain acumen in investing/acquiring businesses

Will need to research deeper. Interesting history with all the legal tussle with sembcorp and 10c dividends, etc..

Very curious wat would be the company's next big investment(s), considering that it has much more $$$ this time...

The next investment? It won't be a very huge one, otherwise why would the management declares special dividend? My gut feeling is that the acquisition won't be announced soon, but the management has confirmed that Baker Engineering has started operation, no idea as to the scale of the contribution to the group, at least we know that the management is doing something to increase the shareholders value.

From the volume being traded and the price movement, it seems that we are repeating what happened two months ago when BakerTech announced special dividend. If history repeats, some news would make public next week. Stay tuned..

I spoke to her last week, quite a nice lady. I sold, she bought, same day, same price. I wonder who is right.
