Dividend $0.015 + special dividend $0.085 = Total $0.1
What a wind fall!

I applied for 5 Million warrants but was given only 58,000
What a miss!

When I wanted to buy the rights to the warrants @ $0.05, my golfing friends asked me whether I was mad. I told them that the provision for the lawsuit money was already in the kitty but they doubted. Emotionally I also got affected, didn’t buy more.
What a waist!

Nevertheless, I shall still receive a 5-figure dividend.

10cents dividend!
The directors know how to play the game well.... using 10 cents to attract 27cents from warrant conversion.

Vested rather happily....

I doubt that the management will exercise their warrants. The only difference between exercising the warrant and not exercising is the 1.5 cent normal dividend. Is it worth to put in 27 cents to just get 1.5 cents extra?

the warrant is a good leveraged financial instrument.

I was taking a look at the charts for Baker Tech and I noticed that it usually spikes in April and then takes a drastic drop. Is there any reason why? Is it purely because of the dividend?

Depends on how far back your charts go, since 2010, usually full year results for Baker Tech announced in Feb but approval for final dividends happen during AGM in April and the counter goes XD in May.

This might explain the spike and fall you noted.

Any VB has a view if Baker is undervalued now?
I think interest has cooled big time since the special dividend payout.
