Templeton Global Smaller Companies Fund

Bought this unit trust many many moons ago partly as a way to invest in overseas market ( I still don't trade overseas stock ). Just received a letter from Templeton that they are closing the fund next month due to its "relatively small size". I was very surprised at the timing. They closed at a time when the market has been going down and gave investors less than 1 month notice. Investors will have to redeem based on current price in the next 3-4 weeks.

I don't think I wlll buy unit trust again !
