Old: $3

New: $4

>>Westbound on the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) near Kallang Bahru from 7.30am to 8am.

Old: no charge

New: $1

>>The Central Business District and Bugis-Marina Centre cordon on weekday CBD from 6.30pm to 7pm

Old: $2

New: $3

>>Orchard cordon on weekdays from 6.30pm to 7pm

Old: $1

New: $2

>>Orchard cordon on Saturdays from 6.30pm to 8pm

The rates for the other gantries will remain unchanged.

Wow, I didn't know the rates are so much nowadays.
Luckily I have to reach the office early enough that I beat the ERP.

At first I thought it was only 4 gantries, but when I read the news today I realized it's 23 gantries islandwide! Gosh!

I think ERP rates have the highest inflation rates compared to other things around. If I can invest in the ERP rates from the time ERP started running until now, with this growth in the ERP rates especially in the CBD area, my investment would have grown at quite a decent rate of return so far. Smile

Ok maybe can ask LTA to spin off the gantries into a SPV and then list them on the proposed new SGX-ASX? Tongue
