What is a decent value for Days XXXX outstanding?

Hi Everyone,

What would you consider a good value for:
Days inventory outstanding
Days sales outstanding
Days payable outstanding

Lets say for a company that manufactures simple electronic products (say... circuit boards). Or it could be for any other type of product or industry that you know of. I'm trying to get a simple gauge.


And another unrelated question, how do I search for EXACT keywords in a post? I tried searching for "inventory turnover" and a lot of posts came up that contained the word inventory only, which wasn't what I was searching for.

There is no a single good value for such ratios. You will have to compare either with its historical performance or against comparable peers (industry standard).

Maybe you can try searching the words with a "<search term>". It normally means searching for that fixed phrase.
