any reason for this statement? Smile

Hi mrEngineer,

i mentioned unlikely becoz of the phenomenal growth singapore has gone through during its early days from a developing country to a 1st world developed country. its reasonable to say for eg. (just as an illustration) spore property was 100psf few decades ago to say 3000 psf now.. that is like 30 fold.. so even under the most optimistic condition, it is possible for 3000psf to grow another 30 fold it will reach 90000psf, but it will probably take many times the time duration as before. anyway, the simplest way is to look at the affordability of the house vs wages. wages has gone up a lot from a low base.. so from a higher base now, its reasonable to reason wages will not go up as much as before, hence affordability n property prices.
the only factor influencing now is overseas funds/investors. becoz their sheer number n wealth are many more times than sporeans, they might be able to push up the prices of high end properties to unthinkable prices in time to come.

my 1 cent worth.

cheers,
