I have read books about "small stuffs".
Some authors said, "You must take care of the small stuffs, before they become big stuffs".
Some said, "Do not sweat the small stuffs, for they are many bigger stuffs for you to worry".

So small stuffs in general are subjective.
Example forgetting Valentine Day is small stuff for some husbands because these couples hardly celebrate this day.

Another example, some people will never go to bed before taking their bath (no matter what) because they can never sleep peacefully.
They can't even sleep if they feel the bed sheet uncomfortable (maybe crumpled too easily).
While some people can sleep anytime, anywhere, peacefully.

So what is small stuff to this person is big stuff to another and vice versa.
I believe some stuffs may be small but should never be compromised.
Like personal's hygiene, one good turn deserves another, etc.
WB:-

1) Rule # 1, do not lose money.
2) Rule # 2, refer to # 1.
3) Not until you can manage your emotions, you can manage your money.

Truism of Investments.
A) Buying a security is buying RISK not Return
B) You can control RISK (to a certain level, hopefully only.) But definitely not the outcome of the Return.

NB:-
My signature is meant for psychoing myself. No offence to anyone. i am trying not to lose money unnecessary anymore.
