INCORPORATION OF A SUBSIDIARY IN MALAYSIA
The board of directors (the “Board”) of the Company wishes to announce that the Company has on
12 May 2014, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Monterey Pte Ltd (“Monterey”), incorporated a
company known as Eastern Investment (Labuan) Berhad (“Eastern Investment”) in Malaysia with an
issued and paid-up share capital of AUD1.00 comprising one (1) share (the “Incorporation”).
Monterey holds 100% of the share capital in Eastern Investment.
Pursuant to the Incorporation, the Company holds 100% of the entire equity interest in Eastern
Investment.
Eastern Investment will be principally engaged in the business of real estate and other investments.
The above Incorporation by Monterey was funded by internal resources and is not expected to have a
material impact on the Company’s earnings per share and net tangible assets per share for the
current financial year ending 31 March 2015.

Likely to be in Aussie property devt coz it is AUD...
Labuan is offshore tax haven so it is just for tax purposes.

Ahem...is this going to be another self storage brand at hoy fatt? Think the current self storage business at lower delta is under existing subsidiary SelfStore Pte Ltd.

If Hoy Fatt could be settled or resold, it would be good. Balance sheet very much cleaned up now.
