Have just done research on retiring in Thailand, looking at the living expenses and rental. Also, the visa situation, it seems another popular spot to shortlist for Singaporeans trying to have lifestyle abitrage.
On the whole, it provides more vibes to your retirement as compared to Johor given the mesh of culture and vibrant cafe scene. Cost wise, slight difference if you choose to base yourself in Bangkok.
