Government Land Sales (GLS) program through tender for Sceneca Residence offered by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) was awarded to MCC Land (Singapore) which offered the highest bid of $248.99 million beating the rest of 15 other bidders in a keenly contested bidding process.

This gives the 8,880 sq m a land rate of approximately  $930 psf ppr with maximum GFA of 24,864 sq m. The upcoming Sceneca Residence will be a mixed residential use with a few commercial units offering about 265 flats with 21,528 sq ft or 2,000 sq m on the first floor set aside for retail units.

This Sceneca Residence is a joint development by MCC Land with Ekovest Developments, and The Place Holdings each harnessing its resources, experts and industry experience to bring out the best of the Sceneca Residence and also taking advantage of strategic Sceneca Residence location being right next to Tanah Merah MRT station at its doorstep.

The Sceneca Residence city fringe location in Outside Central Region (OCR) in the upcoming development will attract much interest due steady pent up demand with the supply of new condo launch being very low for many years. The Sceneca Residence price may pose a record high in the area in the current real estate market sentiment

Sceneca Residence location is well situated between the New Upper Changi Road and Tanah Merah Kechil Road with easy reach to Changi Business Park, Changi Airport, Tampines Mall, Tampines, Tampines Hub, Century Square, Eastpoint Mall and Bedok Mall, Good access to neighbourhood amenities, including Bedok Point, Bedok Mall, Bedok Food Centre, and 58 New Upper Changi Road Market & Food.
