Relisting in early March 2021.
Do you remember the Aztech modem, router in your house?
There was also the acquisition of Michelin roast chicken/pork company story.
Now it is a smart home play.
It is the EMS for Amazon's Ring.
What is competitor of EMS? Well from surface don't seem to have clear edge but it is a relationship business. Before i'm successful product i try to find EMS and no one willing to help me except one, after i'm successful do i give biz to those EMS who don't want to help me earlier? NO, I show them three fingers and ask them read between the line.
Technical end, this guys familiar with connectivity stuff. It is not so easy doing connectivity. You guys would understand if you had used both Apple Airpod vs Creative wireless headset.... you will realize how bad it can be.
Maybe the Amazon Ring could help lead to other smart home projects? Yet to be seen.
To be clear, the edge is not as great as Nanofilm but still there is an edge.

The old Aztech was involved in a wide range of businesses, including roast pork. It was taken private on the cheap. Wondering if it has transformed itself into a pure tech company.

Had always been a tech company with last great product of "LAN plugs"(?) before going into dry bulk shipping and roast pork... maybe a way of depressing stock price

The new generation of management at Aztech are very interested in tech development and have been to be active in the startup space. The hardware startups I had worked with said good things to say about the management.

This co is raising equity in preparation of asianpac's consumer's 5G net working connectivity, IOTs..etc..
looking at current situation, it will be in staggered stages rather than single massive capax...
will take time for fulfillment, would say it's "IPO".... :O

2) Do NOT SELL in BEAR, BUY-BUY-BUY! invest in managements/companies that does the same!

We are delighted to share this momentous milestone for Aztech as we prepare to embark on our next stage of growth, Michael mun said
So generous sharing, wonder few years down the road, will a disrupter pe fund such as dymon entice him to do another delisting like what he did previously
Credible?

Lead independent director Philip Tan said of the offer: "If I had said no and it (the share price) goes down right to the bottom, I'll be blamed. Prices go two ways. You have to take a card. I'm not a magician. I don't predict, I'm not sure about the future."

From Business times article today:
"Sole supplier to its key customer, customer A, for the manufacturing of smart security cameras. Customer A is a major US e-commerce retailer, which accounted for over 60% of Aztech's FY20 revenue."
I immediately remember Jurong Hi-Tech Industries, for I am still holding qpaper share certificates as a reminder. They were in a similar situation (>60% revenue) with Motorola. When things went bad, it went very bad, very fast.
