The Tiananmen Square protest leaders were elites. IIRC, they were mostly from best universities e.g. Peking U and Nanjing U.
Most, if not all done well after "migrated" oversea due to the incident.
But i think different country, different culture, different society, will give him different success.
Just thinking now how many people like him (as talented as him) in China are under "utilised"? Shudder!
