It is sad to see (and say) that the best player in the field has left the field.
If you have followed this thread loooong enough you know what i meant and who i am referring to.

It goes to show how difficult value investing is. If GG with his passion and diligence cannot make a profit after all these years, what about us part timers? Food for thought?

I think he could have still made a profit if dividends collected over the years are included? 

In my opinion, it is still prudent to diversify. Secondly, I would personally prefer not to make a China company my biggest core position. For example, if I am uncomfortable making giants like Alibaba. Tencent and Baidu my core positions, why would I want cmp to be core holding right.....
