One thing about xiaomi is their value for money. Hi end specs at low cost.

The number of handsets sold was almost quadruple, but sales rose only 149 percent. So the number was "grown" by cheaper handsets...

China’s Xiaomi smartphone shipments nearly quadruple in first half

BEIJING – Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone maker valued at US$10 billion (S$12.5 billion) last year, saw smartphone shipments for the first half of 2014 surge to nearly four times higher than in the same period last year.

The Beijing-based Xiaomi shipped 26.1 million handsets in the first six months of the year, it said in a press release on Wednesday. This was more than it shipped in the whole of 2013 and almost quadruple the 7.03 million units for the first half of last year.

Sales for the first six months rose 149 percent from a year ago to 33 billion yuan (S$6.6 billion), Xiaomi said.

I used broker online trading website clock to watch the time. Last 5 min. Closed all the browsers windows and tabs. Press F5 to refresh and mouse click the [out of stock] button. Repeatedly. Until get [add to cart] button. Hahaha.

Got my xiaomi 1 using their PRC site from SG before.

Maybe I will buy LG phone, because XiaoMi does not support 4G.

My Samsung phone after 1 year and 3 months, battery at 50% can drop to 0% during surfing.
