I don't really put much value in the signature, but rather the appreciation to Charlie's valuable (and lollapalooza - hope i get this right) sharing.

haha, can i check with you, is it a handwritten signature or the printed-type? ... if you get what i mean

Ya i do haha.
I was hoping for the handwritten ink as well.
But it is pre-printed.
But again, it is not so much about the signature right? or it is? Lolx.
My views are your Gilbert & Sullivan's:
"The flowers that bloom in the spring, have nothing to do with the case".

In general, i will buy books that i think i will re-read or refer to again & again.
It also serves as my appreciation and support to the author.

I bought Charlie's almanack directly from:
http://www.poorcharliesalmanack.com/
Net proceeds from sales of Poor Charlie's Almanack go to benefit The Munger Research Center of the Huntington Library in San Marino, California.

Hi, need some help here. This is my first time buying books online so i find it so confusing.

After selecting the books that i want to buy, i have to move on to select the shipping method.
There are 3 shipping methods to choose from:
- $178 - USPS priority mail international
- $227 - USPS express mail international
- $172 -UPS worldwide expedited

The books that i am buying cost a total of $106, yet every single shipping method cost more than my books.

Is it a Must that i choose one of these shipping methods?

thanks, this is my first time trying to buy anything online. any help will be appreciated.

Why not try buying from Amazon instead, and compare the prices? http://www.amazon.com/Charlies-Almanack-...1578643031

Some merchants charge low prices but high shipping fees because of the way they pay fees to their payment processors i.e. they may pay fees on the item price but not on shipping.

Essentially if they need to collect $100 from you they can charge $10 for the book and $90 for the shipping if their payment processors tax the book price but not the shipping. This used to be a common tactic on eBay and is still being used.

So pay attention to the total bill and don't get fooled by low book prices.

Please consider using this website http://www.betterworldbooks.com/

This company is a social enterprise — a business with a mission to promote literacy. According to the website, there is free shipping worldwide.

Can also buy MPH groupon voucher and get a 40% discount off.

Or you can go to 2nd hand book stores and buy brand new ones. However, they usually dont carry hard cover copies.
