look like many Reits are rushing to IPO b4 it's too late

2) Rule # 2, refer to # 1.

Truism of Investments.
A) Buying a security is buying RISK not Return
B) You can control RISK (to a certain level, hopefully only.) But definitely not the outcome of the Return.

With QE tapering pretty soon , possibly as early as Sept this year, mortgage rate might start creeping up...
Good luck to the REITS, whether heavily geared or not, all will be hit in general...

lol, I still remember some brokerage houses were running ads to encourage margin clients to do yield plays
borrow at 3.5% and buy reits and defensive stocks for higher yield
those naked swimmers I think now all drowning already
