I've been buying investment ebooks from Kobo (now owned by Rakuten):

There're now 2 promo codes that give >= 75% off (cheapest I've ever seen):

SpringSave80 (80% off - Won't work on all books)
SpringRomance (75% off - Won't work on all books)

I just bought Bobby Jayaraman's REIT book today for US$2.

It seems like each code can only be used once on 1 book per account, and yes, the "SpringRomance" code can be used on non-romance books as well (I used it on another investment book).

Dunno how long this will last, so fast-hand-fast-leg.

I used SpringRomance code to buy part VII of Security Analysis 6th edition for USD 1.92. I also used SpringSave80 to buy part IX of the same book for USD 1.54. Those codes cannot be used anymore for my other purchases. I had to buy part V and part VI each at the normal price of USD 7.69.

Well, i bought a book worth over 18 USD, with less than 4 USD.

Can I check whether the downloaded documents be viewed in Acrobat reader like a normal pdf?
Otherwise Kobo ebooks is another proprietory system just like Amazon.

The downloaded documents can not be viewed in Acrobat reader.
Most of the books can be downloaded in Adobe DRM EPUB format and viewed with Adobe Digital Editions.

Kobo has it's own free Kobo eReading Apps which available in ipad, iphine, android, windows, or mac.

so i won't be able to view the ebooks offline?

think need to login in order to read the ebooks

I logged in to my kobo account, downloaded the books to my android tablet.
I can read the books with the tablet although i am offline.
