39 Event after end of reporting date
The Company and The Group
(i) Subsequent to the end of reporting period, the Company has entered into a conditional sale
& purchase agreement to sell its warehouses classifi ed under investment properties and
property, plant and equipment with net book values of $2,975,000 and $809,000 respectively
to a third party at a consideration of $10,100,000 [Note 13© and Note 14(ii)(a)]. The sale is
subject to the approval of JTC Corporation of Singapore.

Its a non core warehouse at Sungei Kadut Loop. However, the same footnote already appeared in FY1/2012 AR.

Strangely it is still pending JTC approval... funny...

Did a quick eval of this and found NAV is 65cents. Is there any margin of safety at all if one buys in above this level???

why would any value investor find this cheap especially if it is a property counter and not a big one at that?

WB:-

1) Rule # 1, do not lose money.
2) Rule # 2, refer to # 1.
3) Not until you can manage your emotions, you can manage your money.

Truism of Investments.
A) Buying a security is buying RISK not Return
B) You can control RISK (to a certain level, hopefully only.) But definitely not the outcome of the Return.

Haha, I ask the same silly qn before... Check out the sheer size of Minton and payar Lebar sq and Ye expected inflow of rev and profits ... Parklane residences is selling very well, it's clear sky till 2015.

Check out gg earlier threads...

Not all developments are equal... Nvm thought it can be so significant as compared to debt level, cash level and etc..
