I think this is getting to be more and more of a guessing game.

What I will suggest is for all of us to be patient and wait 1-2 more days and we will be able to see the reason for the trading halt. Big Grin

Well... i guess its tonight or tomorrow...
SGX listing rules say trading halt maximum of 3 days.

A Trading Halt is a short term trading stoppage requested by an issuer to disclose material information. It is generally requested for a minimum of 30 minutes to a maximum of three market days. When a Trading Halt is being lifted, a stock will enter into the phase that the market is then in.

==> if not become suspended.

They have up to Thursday morning since the halt was issued on Monday morning.

Is it going to be sleepless nights for KC shareholders till Thursday? The sleepless nights are not due to worry, but due to anticipation... Tongue

Halted for 2 days, very good chance that it is a GO.

Hope we have a cash rich trade buyer making the offer

I remember reading somewhere that the average premium paid for Singapore companies that are acquired is 35%.

If this is really a GO, I should say the acquirer has gotten in at the right time before FY12's results announcement (which would have created a possible run-up in price, considering FY12's numbers should be better than last year's).
