In search of 'progressive' dividend policies

Interesting article. How many companies listed on SGX can claim to raise dividends over the long-term?

I think many such companies tend to have low initial yield, a substantial portion of earnings tend to be reinvested, eg. walmart, coca cola... therefore one has to be a long term investor to reap the rewards
