I made on WT 2 rounds but holdings are no longer intact after JP morgan bought from me today. And they are still buying at 1.515

Some updates from The Edge Singapore from this week issues titled "Wing Tai Chairman's Bet on his company pays off"
1. "33% of the 140 unit Helios Residences, 11% of the 176 unit Belle Vue Residences and 16% of the 147 unit L'Viv were still unsold. 2. Company plans to relaunch 51% sold Foresque (496 units). Renovating showflat and will be completed soon, keep secret on the pricing but "will always leave something on the table"

Wing Tai Properties Limited which is 34.87% owned by Wing Tai Holdings announced their 1H result this evening. Based on the following statement in the prospect section, Wing Tai Properties should contribute positively to Wing Tai 1H FY2013 result.
"In the second half of 2012, the financial impact of the corporate exercise on Winsor will be fully reflected, including an estimated gain on disposal of approximately HK$240 million and accretion of shareholders’ equity of approximately HK$630 million, subject to audit .... Barring unforeseen circumstances, the results for the 2012 full year are expected to be promising with the recognition of development project earnings and increasing recurring income. With an enhanced platform and strengthened balance sheet, we will remain vigilant against any near-term market volatility and work diligently to execute our projects and capture expansion opportunities. Ive been offloading my Wing Tai shares over the past few days. Funny, the same people whom I bought from at $1 is now buying them back 1.535 +
Im still vested, but I need money to buy Heeton, Tuan Sing and Guocoleisure. :p |
