5% stake = 17,750K shares
Total shares transacted in past 5 days (from 35 cents to 47 cents) = 17,636K
Should not be long before the buyer needs to show hand!

last HY EPS is 2.61. FY is expected to be around 5cts.
so, PE is around 8.
I got the figure from ShareInvestor. It's using June 2011 FY results of $0.03237.

At this stage, we can only speculate or make educated guesses.. While vizbranz is trading at its all time high, perhaps current shareholders or for that matter potential investors would do well to assess what's the fair intrinsic value of each vizbranz share... Bearing in mind the value of the underlying business and its growth potential relative to current valuation, my opinion remains that Mr Market is still underpricing this business... Of course we may not yet know the reason for the current surge and may never know... Nevertheless should there be an opportunity for a trade sale (just a hypothetical assumption), perhaps investors can consider similar circumstances in order to arrive at a fair estimate of the value of each share..

closed up a whoppy 0.455 today. deep in my mind, i am hoping this company will not get delisted and wish the father and son will patch up and align towards the common goal...else sgx is losing quite a number of solid good companies.

The buying interest was triggered the day after the XD. Normally, the stock price will drop or remain stagnant for weeks but in this case, thr price actually went north.
Unless there were dividend crazed investors scooping up the shares, it normally means that there are something happening behind the scene.
Lastly, the 2 cts dividend did not look normal either.

Almost touching the high of 2009 leow, I think no chance to buy any more of the 30+ level, not sure if any general offer will make sense?
This father and son squabble no longer look real also? Recall in 2009 & 2010, Snr Chng actually has been in the market buying up the shares?
As some1 mention here coffee bean price drop 10% - does it automatically translate to some form of savings - yes, no futures contract outstanding that lock in previous price?
Looks to me the buying is trigger by some other party? No query from sgx or notice of insider?
The family should be controlling more than 70% buy now? If they had snook anybody sale in the below 30s, why would they want to make a GO?
I did take note of this until x dividend move... Actually all those that have invested in similar business to Super made more from Viz Branz... Dividend+warrant+share split. At this price its actually multi-fold gain!!

Suddenly, all quiet on the western front.....feeling stunned and dizzy after it came down to close at $0.43 today...... wow, what hit us?
Also, Yuen San Seng sold off 250,000 shares at $0.41 yesterday. Don't know what to make of all this!

The beginning and end prices mask a wild trading session for Viz Branz shares...............
I am now convinced that the older I get the less I understand how markets work ....... and don't work. Today the Viz Branz share price goes up a further 17.1/2% in the morning (vs. yesterday's closing) to S$ 0.535 per share only to end the day 5.5% down vs. yesterday's closing or almost 20% down vs. its intra-day peak. In volumes of almost 2.5 Million shares.
I guess more than a few were watching Viz Branz share price during the course of today's SGX trading session. Does anyone have a sane explanation for the wild swing's in Viz Branz share price today - i.e. what prompted such swings??
I'm off for a stiff gin.

If one can determine the proper value of a company, then he would not need to be influenced or affected by Mr. Market's mood swings.
Of course, it's easier said than done. Emotions usually get the better of us; and we play into the hands of Mr. Market's emotions too.

While yesterday's (14Mar12) intra-day up-and-down price movement within a $0.125 range was indeed very sharp, it reflects the individual and overall actions by some participants - likely speculators. I suspect whoever buying big-time in the last few market-days (from 8Mar12) and pushing the price upwards, decided to stop his buying just before 1000 hours yesterday morning. As a result, from that point onwards those short-term 'long' speculators who followed the price up decided to bail out one after another - most of them who bought the day or 2 before should still have made some money - bringing the price spiralling downwards to close the day at $0.43, down $0.025 from the previous day's closing price at $0.455.
But the facts remain, (1) someone of substance started the buying on 8Mar (Thursday, last week) - the first 'XD' date - by buying most of the 1661 lots transacted mostly at $0.355 on the day, and (2) the active buying continued in the next 3 market-days (9Mar, 12Mar and 13Mar) and culminated on 13Mar, and on that day a massive 11.0m shares were crossed at $0.39 in one single-transaction. This perhaps had fired up the sharp price movement upwards all way to the intra-day high of $0.535 the next day (14Mar, yesterday), before the sharp price correction set in soon after 1000 hours.
Based on yesterday's closing price at $0.43, Viz Branz's market cap. now stands at $152.7m, and using $18.6m as a conservative estimate for this FY12's NP, Mr Market is now attaching a current-year PER of approx. 8.2x, which is quite modest.
