YuuZoo’s revenue skyrockets 242% to $81.5m
All other company figures were inspiring.
On back of impressive business performance, investment holding company YuuZoo Corporation Limited’s total income soared 242% YoY to $81.5 million in 1H16, and 237% YoY to $36 million in 2Q16.
YuuZoo boasts of it’s e-commerce business as earnings shot up 497% to $47.2 million for the first half of 2016. Likewise, EBIT surged 1040% to $14.3 million in 2Q16 and 378% to $27.1 million in 1H16, it added.
On top of the period’s achievements, the company said it continued to operate fully debt-free.
“Trade and other receivables declined 44% to SGD19.5 million from SGD34.7 million at December 31st 2015, while liabilities during the same period plunged 67% to SGD3.7 million from SGD11.2 million,” YuuZoo said.
Their non cash revenue more than overshadow their EBIT
http://infopub.sgx.com/FileOpen/Yuuzoo_C...eID=416361
they have cash burn of around $7-9m a year. They don't have enough cash to last 2017. My guess is a big equity raising issue coming using the Relativity acquisition as a front. Relativity itself needs huge cash injection to survive as an on-going entity
As for the AFS of $86.4m I'll believe it when they show me the $, not some in-kind swap valuation

Time for some YuuZoo-bites
YuuZoo and NTA, The Largest TV Network in Africa, Launch New TV Show to Market YuuZoo’s EPL Football Games and Virtual Clubhouses
• NTA’s new TV show “FansConnect” (via www.weconnect.ng) is focused purely on football and hosted by one of Nigeria’s rising new TV show hosts
• The in-app purchases for the featured YuuZoo football games have an Average Revenue Per Paying User ("ARPPU") of USD 422.00
• Revenue is shared 50-50 between YuuZoo and NTA
• Featured games include games created for Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal
ARPU seems to have grown strength to strength from USD 295 (2015) to USD 422 now. It would be interesting to see how that is calculated though..

YuuZoo has a pattern of exaggerating themselves....
Why would Edward Tobin say this?
"As various research reports have stated, we believe YuuZoo’s shares are significantly undervalued, and are optimistic the shares we have been paid in for this exclusive option will increase in value as the market recognizes the strengths of Yuuzoo"

@weijian,
I had the same thinking until i saw this:
YuuZoo Corporation has acquired an exclusive option to buy the holding company of Cinram Europe for 7.5 million YuuZoo shares.
Seems like what they got is just the purchase option. I can't figure out why the sellers wanted to sell
at a song. When something is too good to be true it usually is.........

@kelvesy,
Agree YuuZoo have a tendency to do that. Paying for stuff using their shares only signal one thing:
- the shares are overvalued
There are no good stocks. Stocks are only good when they go up after you bought them.

Exaggerate is to make a thing bigger than it is
Problem is I don't think they have any "thing". Post-Truth era.
