1. CLOSE THREAD with Quick Reply > Message > Close Thread option
2. CLOSE THREAD with Reply > Moderator Options > Close Thread option
Your admin has fixed the bug by appying this fix :

To CLOSE/OPEN THREAD with Moderation Options > Open / Close Thread => it is working fine.
