This company has ventured into a new biz, mini-mart biz. It has acquired several mini-marts recently. Will it become a threat to the top 3 retailers, namely NTUC, SS, and DF in near future? I doubt so.

Seng Siong ROE is about 24% as for Advance integrated manufacturing (AIM), it is only 6%, I think supermarket in Singapore is ridiculously profitable, so if AIM is able to branch out successfully, i will not be surprise this counter is going to just rise alot, very good idea, not sure how the execution will be like (maybe they paid too much for the mini market), definitely will have to take a look at their upcoming financial statement to access the execution

Grocery (mini-mart) market is a volume game, and need infrastructure e.g. warehousing to be competitive. I am curious on the progress of the new venture.
