Saudi Arabia arrested prominent billionaire investor Prince Alwaleed bin Talal as part of an anti-corruption purge, Al-Eqtisadiah reported.

Alwaleed is among 11 princes and 38 current or former senior officials that were arrested as part of a corruption probe, the Saudi financial daily reported in an infographic on its Twitter feed on Sunday. A senior Saudi official confirmed that the list is accurate.

Alwaleed is one of the world’s richest men and has an extensive portfolio that includes a stake in Citigroup Inc. which the prince has held since 1991. Kingdom Holding, in which Alwaleed owns 95 percent, has also been an investor in News Corp., Twitter Inc., JD.com Inc., the Four Seasons hotel chain and Accor Hotels.
