Quantitative measure of Independent Directors (Offshore Marine)

Its a fact that how well a company grows is very much related to the competence of the management team. However, the independent directors (IDs) a key component of it is often overlooked. Usually in an AGM, you do not hear much from them hence we tend to know less of them compared to the executive team. An ID is ideally someone who should advise & help steer the company in the right direction with their extensive experience external to the company and not cronies of the the biggest shareholder to milk the minorities.

I've chanced upon an interesting observation. Hopefully, the table attached can help you draw your conclusions on who are the overpaid/under-performing one versus the undervalued ones....

nice to draw this to our attention
for me, i dont care about their salary, i only care about results. If they can deliver results even after they paid themselves handsomely, i have no issues

Interesting list. I am actually negative on all the counters based on initial scanning. Except swissco which I did not make an in depth research due to having better potential counters.

Just curious, do you have any non OM, energy counters analyzed?
