The investments have started slowly now.

They are investing in a UK property.

If history is any guide, UK property should do well.

I encourage you to do your own independent "due diligence" on any idea that I write about, because I could be and probably am wrong.

Nothing written here is an invitation to buy or sell any particular stock.

At most, I am handing out an educated guess as to what the markets may do.

The market will always find a new way to make a fool out of me (and maybe, even you!).

Even the best strategies of the past fail, sometimes spectacularly, when you least expect it.

I am not immune to that, so please understand that any past success of mine will probably be followed by failures

5% jump in price today, with 1.25 Million transacted value.

No announcements from Metro.

Could be because of upcoming dividend, i guess

Not sure why the suddenly jump in price today, but if one looks at the technical factors, it's been showing a strong uptrend.

The dividend (if any), is unannounced and wont be anytime soon.
Metro year end is in March, so the Q4 results will be released in May, dividend ex date is usually in end July, and the dividend pay date is usually in August.

What's all this talk about the inheritance fight gotta do with the rise in share price?

JO was the main trap setter for this value trap. A fight between the giants for control that potentially invite third parties into bidding wars, may benefit the OPMIs by unlocking value.

A recent similar example would be the fight between Heineken and FN for APB.
