thesedays, better buy good Co. that can perform and better still willing to give dividend... Having a strong moat helps.... just look at Capital Land born so many babies and suck so much cash from market but all their promotion and shares dead performer.... simple fact, too much shares issued.... and frankly, when reading The Edge latest promotion on Capital Mall Asia and Capital Retail China, I dont understand the hack of what the two entities are up too?

They have all these top notch gov ppl on board so much so nothing moves except printing bonds and raise funds.

I rather park my money in old fashion business that make for easy understanding of how they intent to recycle their cash - slow and steadily... With Jurong point, guess the money keep rolling in, no wonder LKT just want to keep buying the shares.... Capital Land tender bloody high for Bedok - wait till they bleed... it is not hub like JP. he

These Reits and Funds have of late lead to a lot of complain from SMEs - all are working for LandLoard Capital Land... How can that be good for the country!!

Sometimes in life, there is no need to do too much things.(trading, switching, calculating NAV and PE everyday, read reports, read rumors..)
Just sit tight and enjoy the trip.

The above theory is so profound that it took me quite some times to understand and apply it.

I wonder this morning's (21Mar12) sudden surge in volume (>16.3m shares traded as at 1057hrs) and share price may be pointing towards something positive or major coming. Of course, the announced $0.055/share in total dividends - with 'XD' date fixed for 3May12 - is also a reason to buy/trade this counter.

If Guthrie and LKT together decide to sell the entire JP, any extra value over BV they can extract from the sale will have a smaller impact on Guthrie's EPS and NAV/share than that of LKT, as Guthrie's latest 1077.94m oustanding issued shares base is 213.3% that of LKT's 505.44m shares.

Yes...but only sometimes. Mostly, one must do some homework first and then wait patiently for the magic to unfold. Let your money work while you sleep...sounds familiar?

You can calculate NAV everyday, just that you will get the same number until the next financial report is released Smile
